GPA and probation · GUST
When do you go on academic probation at GUST?
Quick answer
You go on academic warning if your cumulative GPA falls below 1.75 (18–29 credits), or below 1.90 (30 credits), or below 2.00 (31+ credits).
- Warning thresholds above are from the student-run guide mygust.com; GUST does not publish them on its own site.
- Failing to remove a second academic probation leads to dismissal, which also cancels any scholarship.
- Normal load is 15 credits (12 minimum, 21 maximum; more than 18 needs a CGPA above 3.0).
