In short

We never ask for your name or your university password. Your schedule, degree progress and GPA are stored on your device. We use anonymous numbers from schedules and practice to serve the next students better, and you can switch that off below.

How Kullia learns

When you save “This is my schedule” we send the sections you picked without your name, so each course page can show the most picked sections and the courses taken with it. Each device counts once.

When the course tutor checks your working or you hand in a mock exam, we count only the topic and whether it was right (not the photo or your answers), to show the topics students find hard and to focus explanations and mock exams on them.

Nothing about a course is shown until at least 3 students count.

If you tap 👍 or 👎 on an Ask Kullia answer, we send the question and answer without your name (emails and numbers removed). We review them ourselves, and answers we confirm help Ask Kullia answer the next students more accurately. Answers to questions that used your data are never sent.

Alerts

If you turn on alerts, we store your browser's push token, the sections you watch and a random device ID, and use them only to send alerts. Remove any alert on the My alerts page; removing all of them deletes your data.

Kullia Plus

A Plus code is linked to your device ID so it works on at most two devices. Payment happens at the payment provider; we never see your card details.

Deleting your data

Email hello@kullia.com and we'll delete anything linked to your device.
