When do internal-scholarship applications open, and when are results out?

Quick answer

For 2026/27, online registration ran from 3 to 13 August 2026, results came out on 15 August 2026 with 7,989 students accepted, and appeals ran from 16 to 22 August. For Spring 2027 the council has announced no plan for high-school graduates so far.

• The council publishes the plan and cut-offs in early summer (the 2026/27 plan came out on 30 June 2026); registration is on registration.puc.edu.kw.
• Mid-year windows have been for self-paying students joining or re-joining the scholarship, such as 1–7 February 2026, not for new high-school graduates.
• Students accepted: 6,250 in 2025/26 and 7,989 in 2026/27.
